“The guy at the large box store made installation sound simple when my retired father purchased the slats of wood flooring. At home with missing tiles and other irregularities on the existing floor, it’s-a-piece-of-cake no longer seemed to apply. That’s where Old Floor 2 New stepped in. For a surprisingly reasonable price, especially considering they were working with customer-supplied product, Old Floor 2 New took on the job. When they discovered there wasn’t enough flooring to finish the project they even found additional material. We were clearly impressed long before our installer arrived. We’ve seen workers who simply didn’t care about quality workmanship and workers who only seemed worried about how quickly they could finish the job and get out of there.

Victor, Old Floor 2 New’s installer, was a refreshing contradiction to those workers. In fact, worker is entirely the wrong term to use when describing him. Victor is an artisan and a craftsman. We were in awe as we watched his painstaking attention to detail. No rush, just get it right. From start to finish, the experience with Old Floor 2 New was

“My husband and I were planning on moving and at the advice of our real estate agent decided to replace the carpet prior to the listing of our home. We wanted a carpet that was attractive, durable and affordable. Allison Lee helped us choose the perfect carpet. She laid out a number of different samples and colors and clearly explained the advantages and disadvantages of each type. She made what could have been a very stressful situation fun!

One of the things I was most appreciative about when dealing with Old Floor 2 New is that I felt informed at every stage of the process. They did an excellent job communicating with us. Another thing that I appreciated was that the installation was timely. The materials came on time and the installation happened the next day.

On the day of our installation, the crew arrived on time. They were polite, courteous and surprisingly quiet. In fact, my husband slept through most of it! Old Floor 2 New exceeded our expectations in many ways. One way had to do with our furniture. We left our furniture in one of the bedrooms and the carpet installers were planning on moving it as they went. Well, we failed to realize that one piece of furniture had actually been assembled in the room and wouldn’t come out. The installer actually disassembled the piece, moved it, installed the carpet, then reassembled it in the room! All without our knowing it. This was, to us, unbelievable customer service.

Throughout the installation our home was kept very clean. We couldn’t be more thrilled with our carpet or the service we received. Our relator even said it was the perfect choice. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better flooring experience.”
